Quickdraw quasar deck

Re: Quickdraw quasar deck
I find focusing around only making Quasar makes the deck more inconsistent. If you're going for a deck that makes Quasar all day everyday, I'd suggest Laval, but hey, that's just me.
If you do decide to follow my advice, I'd suggest taking out a level eater, three has always been too inconsistent for me.
I see you're trying to run a plant engine but, I my opinion, the plant engine isn't fast enough without Glow-Up Bulb, I'd run either a Lightsworn engine (Which might be slightly better this format because of Evilswarms), a Psychic engine (which is personally my favorite) or if your old school, a T.G. engine (It also isn't as good as it used to be because Striker is at one now but, I think it's better than a plant engine.)
You could also try what I've done which is sorta adding a mini plant engine to the Psychic one which, in turn gives you enough winds to consistently Dark Simorgh.
I'd also add an Effect Veiler or two because there are so few light targets in a non-Lightsworn version of the deck.
This might just be me rambling and nobody will listen because I'm just some crazy dude but, with a LOT of practice, you can get good with this deck (Junk Doppel kinda has a really insane skill curve, so much of one that I still haven't got it down yet, just be patient).

Re: Quickdraw quasar deck
Xavouine's Synquasar
I went with full-blown synchrons. I don't know if that's the direction you were giving it but I thought giving you my attempt on the deck may help.
Also, if you're running 3 doppel (which I think you should), D.D sprite is incredible since you can just use a token to special summon it if you've got your unknown synchron play unavailable for whatever reason.
However, I'll have to side with Jeffrey here in that Laval Quasar is waaay more consistent at Quasaring than quickdraws since they rely much less on your hand. (then again, my quickdraw build is far from ideal but still...)

Re: Quickdraw quasar deck
Hey,
This deck doesn't completely focus on quasar, it usually gets a quasar out on first turn, but if not, I usually use junk destroyer, stardust, catastr, all combined with armoury arm. I usually get a quasar out around 70% of the time, but it's not my priority.

I'll have to differ on that one. unless you top the perfect 6 cards, there is very little chance to open with a quasar play using quickdraws.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyhow, enough on the little details. my bottom line would be :
-1 level eater
-3 cherries
-1 spore
+1 doppel
+2 mst
+1 veiler
that would help with backrow removal and light/dark ration. Then again, if plants are your thing, stick with them but personally, I'd go a different route (see previous advices)
