It takes a pro to use DevPro.
Even before that, you're coming off as an arrogant punk. I don't care for your opinions, but the fact that you're going around and criticizing everything and everyone's work is annoying. Step off and mind your own business and if you think you have the authority to judge who we are and deem us "not good enough for you", get out of DSA.

I don't see what's wrong with Devpro. Duels get done quicker, you don't run into idiots that can't play the game and be forced to wait for an admin, the duel recording feature is nice and copying a deck already made so you can change a little without having to make the same deck over again is convenient.

DN is way better. The only advantage that devpro has over DN is automation. The devpro interface is bad. It's glitchy. DN is like a real life tournament simulator. The mods in devpro don't even follow their own rules. The people there ban for no reason. There are just so much more minor details that just make DN way better!Jeffrey the Turtle wrote:I don't see what's wrong with Devpro. If being glitchy is a problem then just use YGOPro, it's less glitchy. I don't really see how DN is like a real life tournament simulator... none of the dueling programs really are. I don't see why you'd even need to speak to the mods on Devpro unless you're acting like a fucking idiot in chat and pissing everyone off.
I don't see how DN is better other then the fact that contacting friends on DN is better, other then that, yeah.

Its a download? Does it have a large player base, or is it empty some times?

Couldn't say, I'm on DN.
Although, I figure they must have a respectable player base in order to survive as a dueling platform.

Re: Dueling Netword, DevPro, YGOPro
DN and Devpro both have their pros and cons, and i play both.
DN currently have a faster start for duels after they introduced the random duelist pool, it is rated, but you get in a duel in less than 10 seconds.
right now i only duel in rated, despite how high level the opponent might be.
Devpro has automatic game mechanics, and that is by far the most convenient system when you want to just have a quick duel, no retards would come and ruin your day with stupid arguments.
i agree Dn is a better place for learning how to actually duel, devpro's system would just make everyone think things just work.
however, sometimes devpro would provide the right procedure to some hard to determine situations, and i learn many situations where i would miss timing, or my misunderstanding of card effects.
-------------------------------------------------
my opinions aside,
both systems are great systems, despite some of their flaws
!ygo! i find it unecessary for you to insult the system and the ppl who uses it
its their own business in choosing what they use.
you dont need to stress and put down other members, calling them stupid for liking what you dont like
and you can still enjoy playing in DN,
if you want
feel free to duel me!
if you can find me that is ^^
------------------------------------------------
with that being addressed,
the discussion of whether DN or devpro is better is now over,
any more arguments or put downs made would be given a warning to the member that starts it!
that is all

Re: Dueling Netword, DevPro, YGOPro
I just find !ygo!'s insults getting out of hand, he's the only member here of all the members I've ever spoken to who thinks he can beat anyone, because his record is as good as cynthia's on her old account, and thinks he can say what he wants without repercussions. I did mention once on CHA that we'll snuff out problems if they come to be, and if you're going to be a problem ygo then I'll gladly snuff you out before you can get worse than you already are. I have no need for arrogance here.
Re: Dueling Netword, DevPro, YGOPro
What I find annoying was that !ygo! had the audacity to post in my win wall about what I use and proceeds to accuse me of not minding my own business. My win wall is mine and mine alone and I don't think you have the power to say otherwise, !ygo!. Unless you shape up and learns some tact for behaving like a civilized person on the internet, your presence will be a bother for DSA. I don't want to start a fight with you so watch what you say, don't accuse or insult people for no reason, and give people the benefit of the doubt and I'll do the same. If that goes, then we won't have a problem.
As for the differences between DN and YGOPro/DevPro, they're both fine medians of dueling and I don't think either of them are better than the other. Hell, even the makers of both met and agreed that they tailor to different crowds and preferences and believe that neither systems are better. To continue this argument is stupid and baseless as they're too different to make any claims.
And for Blazex12, the link is here if you're still looking for it.

If you still want to use DN, that's fine with me. DN isn't bad.
And don't insult my friends.!ygo! wrote:if u dont see it then ur stupid what?

Re: Dueling Netword, DevPro, YGOPro
So anyway, back on topic. I use Dueling Network most of the time, and when i have connection problems with DN i use YGO pro, even though the casual community in that game is lacking. I have not been able to figure out where to download Devpro, since whenever i look it up, i get to a YGOpro download instead.
If ever you are looking for a fun casual duel, with a fun, non-meta deck, send me a pm anytime, i always enjoy playing unique and different decks.

Well, DevPro is actually YGOPro with a better interface. So, don't be surprised if it looks like you're downloading YGOPro.

I don't think so. The only way would be to record your screen while you watch the replay.

I don't have anything really professional. I've been trying camstudio but haven't worked out the bugs yet. It's free and works, but haven't uploaded anything yet.

EzVid works decently well, it's free and it's also it's own editing software, so yeah
